Kathryn McElveen is a professional leadership coach (PCC) and Courage & Renewal® facilitator with the Center for Courage & Renewal. Since 2006, she has specialized in coaching leaders from a wide range of serving professions and facilitating formational experiences that help leaders integrate “soul” and “role” for personal, organizational and cultural transformation. She especially appreciates working with diverse groups whose different backgrounds, experiences and world views enrich and inspire mutual formation. She is a graduate of Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and an ordained clergyperson in the United Methodist Church. She is also the co-author of Faith Coaching: A Conversational Approach to Helping Others Move Forward in Faith (2008) and The Faith Coaching Toolkit (2009). Kathryn and her spouse have four young children with whom they enjoy a variety of sports and outdoor activities, reading, organic gardening and learning new things.
