You are invited to join a three-part retreat series being offered in southern Mississippi in 2018. This series is designed for those who wish to cultivate a more authentic, meaningful and connected life. By listening to the deep wisdom and guidance of soul – both within and the more expansive soul that surrounds and flows through all things of the natural world – we renew our inner lives and outer belonging in the family of things.
Based on the Circle of Trust® approach as developed by Parker Palmer, these retreats provide a safe space away from the distractions and demands of everyday life to hear the wisdom of the heart. Within a sincere and committed community, issues of connection, purpose, longings, vocation and transition are explored through deep listening.
Stories from our personal journeys, insights from poets, story-tellers, and diverse wisdom traditions, as well as, music, art, movement and Nature in its many diverse expressions are used to invite the voice of soul. Then, large-group and small-group gatherings, journaling, and time in solitude provide the opportunity to explore and gain clarity of those promptings of the heart. Clearness Committee, a focused discernment process, is an integral component of the retreats.
In this way we journey towards “inner and outer wholeness” bringing together who we are within and who and what we are as part of the natural world.
